ABOUT US
The company Modular Molding Systems GmbH - MMS for short - was founded in 2008 by plastics engineer Peter Buxbaum as a spin-off from his family's stamping technology company in Wöllersdorf near Wiener Neustadt. The aim of founding the company was - and still is today - to combine the modularly designed metalworking and assembly technology with plastic injection molding. The focus is on the large-scale production of precise mechatronic assemblies, such as sensors, switching and connecting elements for automobiles, as well as for the electrical and white goods industries, as well as medical technology.
In 2013, MMS moved from Wöllersdorf to a larger company site in the Berndorf industrial park (around 40 km southwest of Vienna). Associated with this was an expansion of the range of interlinked and more highly integrated assembly lines with a focus on sensor assemblies.
In order to put the export business, which accounts for up to 100 percent of sales, on a broader basis and, in particular, to strengthen the market position in Asia, a partnership was entered into in 2019 with the Shanghai Baolong Corporation (Baolong *).
